I cannot guarantee a rabbit beyond health at the time of pick-up. Rabbits, especially young rabbits, have immature and fragile digestive systems that can be easily killed by not following the feeding instructions I give at the time of pick-up. DO NOT feed fruits, vegetables, or starches, until the rabbit is 4-6 months old. Add new foods in slowly and in moderation. Feed a quality pellet and offer hay to keep the gut moving. See: GI Stasis Mucoid Enteritis
I do guarantee the rabbit to be free from genetic or quality of life defects such as malocclusion, and split penis. We will verify proper bite of the rabbit at the time of sale.
If your rabbit gets snotty or starts sneezing, please notify me immediately. Clear snot is usually due to debris or allergies. White snot is ALWAYS a concern. Pasturella unfortunately exists in an estimated 95+% of all stock and they can also contract it from people, other animals or through environemental exposure. We verify that the rabbit is not snotty and does not have any signs of an upper respiratory disorder at the time of sale. If the animal becomes snotty within one week of the sale I may refund or replace the animal at my discretion. Anything outside of one week can be due to environment or exposure. Pasturella if dormant generally pops quickly with a stressor and symptoms develop rapidly. I do require video and or photos of the rabbit in question to verify, and if you are local I will want to see the rabbit in person to evaluate.
