About Us

I have been raising rabbits on and off since I was about eight years old. I started in Mini Rex, and today it is still one of my favorite breeds. Today, we raise Rex, Mini Rex, Satin, New Zealand, Velveteen Lops and Holland Lops. We raise these breeds of rabbit in several varieties; we strive for show quality animals with good temperaments.
We work with other reputable breeders to work to achieve the breed standard of perfection (SOP). We do not breed to produce pets. We do offer some of our stock that doesn't meet the very stringent and high standard of a show or brood animal, as pets, but we do so with awareness and careful selection of appropriate homes. We are reputable breeders that care first and foremost about the rabbit. We raise rabbits because we genuinely love and respect them as individuals. We do not make a profit from our rabbitry; all proceeds are re-invested in stock, feed, equipment, show entry fees, travel expenses, and transportation etc.
By supporting reputable breeders, you are supporting the preservation and integrity of these precious breeds. There will always be backyard breeders who pump kits out as fast as they can, to make a quick buck, with no care of maintaining breed integrity and improving quality of individual animals. By ONLY supporting adoption, you are indirectly supporting the backyard breeders and the destruction of purebred animals who are each as unique as the purpose the breed was originally developed for. ADOPT OR SHOP, but do so with reputable breeders or reputable organizations, who make the best decisions for the animal.
We will ALWAYS take back any animal, for any reason, no questions asked. No shame. We want the best outcome for the rabbit, which is why we ask that you return the rabbit to us for rehoming should you decided you no longer want or are able to care for the animal; Reputable breeders are responsible for the animal for their entire life.
We most often have young stock available, but occasionally proven senior does and bucks may be available for purchase. Sometimes we have rescues/surrenders/stock from co-op breeders of all breeds available. We also take in rabbit surrenders from the general public. We do whatever we can to ensure good outcomes for the local rabbits, even for animals we did not produce and are not directly responsible for.
